2009 US Open App for iPhone Serves Up Tennis Goodness
Tuesday, September 8, 2009 12:20
Heading into the final week of the US Open in Flushing Meadows, what better way to stay on top of the action than with an official iPhone app! The USTA have worked together with IBM to release the 2009 US Open app for iPhone and iPod Touch, and it’s a beauty. I’ve been using it for a few days now to stay on top of news and live results.
This free download features up-to-the-second news and scores, schedules, full draws for all sections of the tournament, video, daily photos, player info and bios and more… There’s even a ‘tweets’ section that lets you connect featured player twitter feeds.
Bottom line, if you’re into tennis and have been following play thus far in the ‘09 US Open, this one is worth a download. The price is right (free), and the information provided is timely and comprehensive.
Download the 2009 US Open app for free (iTunes link).
