Sony’s e-book readers are hanging in there, continuing to give Amazon’s Kindle some competition. Sony has announced that it will market two new e-book readers at the end of this month, PC World reports.
One is a direct competitor, a touch-screen Sony reader with a 6-inch screen to sell for 9, the same price as the Kindle. Sony is calling the other one a pocket e-book reader. It’s got a 5-inch screen and is bargain-priced at 9.
