Remember that potentially boring Casio Brigade C741 that popped up on our radar as part of a leaked Verizon Wireless roadmap? Right, well, the Casio Brigade has just been approved by the FCC. The details are slim at this point, but the FCC filing shows that the Brigade has CDMA/EVDO and Bluetooth radios packed within.
Casio is known for their rough-and-tumble handsets and feature-packed cameraphones. We have no idea which way this Casio Brigade will swing, but judging by the vague FCC image, we’d put our money on “somewhere in between.”
Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless should be announcing the Casio Brigade soon. Pricing is still unknown.
