Dictionary.com Launches Dictionary and Thesaurus App for BlackBerry

Need an easy to use dictionary and thesaurus on your BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM)? The folks at Dictionary.com have come to the rescue for you, launching a new dictionary and thesaurus app for the BlackBerry! The app contains more than half-a-million words, definitions and synonyms, and is quite powerful. You can also hear audio pronunciations, just like you can do on the main website. Perhaps the best feature (at least in my opinion) is the ability of the app to integrate with your native apps. So, when crafting an email, the app will jump in and help you correct those spelling mistakes! Handy!
Key features:
- Dictionary and Thesaurus (of course)
- Word of the Day English and Spanish
- More than 325,000 words and definitions
- More than 275,000 synonyms
- Phonetic and audio pronunciations
- Spelling suggestions
- Recent history
- Social networking functions
- Email integration
So far the app is getting glowing reviews. Check it out for yourself at BlackBerry App World.
