Flirtomatic Launches iPhone Application
Sunday, January 17, 2010 5:20
Flirtomatic (a popular social mobile service) has decided to release an app for the iPhone – and it’s available at the very reasonable price of free!
Once downloaded, the Flirtomatic iPhone application allows users to take all of 20 seconds to set up a profile and start chatting. Users can also:
- Search over 1.8 million hot profiles. Find people who live nearby and search by gender, age, interests, and flirting preference.
- Chat Live – Fire off messages for free, or send a virtual gift, kiss, wink or supersnog to start a conversation. Users can also send a “flirtbomb” to hit many flirts in one go – and watch the responses come in.
- Buy their own user-generated advertising in the Look At Me section, where they bid in real-time auctions, 24 hours a day, to get more attention than any rivals.
- Browse the top-rated gallery to find the most popular, the most snogged, and the most generous people on Flirtomatic. Check out full profiles and photos or create your own.
- Tons of extras – Rate your favorites, find out who’s rated you, see who’s checked you out, see who’s online right now, delete freak ratings, and much more.
Flirtomatic content is screened to have a PG rating, so there’s nothing inappropriate and no adult advertising. The site actively moderates and approves all content, which I think is a good move, and should earn Flirtomatic a pat on the back.
You can find Flirtomatic for the iPhone now on the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) iTunes Store. In addition to the iPhone, Flirtomatic is available to mobile users in the U.K., Germany, Australia and the U.S. through partnerships with Vodafone (NYSE: VOD), T-Mobile (NYSE: DT), and Orange. Flirtomatic also offers Web access, so users can flirt at any time and from anywhere.
