Yahoo today reported that an increasing number of people are claiming to have Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (or EHS), which means that they are experiencing headaches, muscle spasms, burning skin and chronic pain due to over-exposure to mobile phones and wireless internet.
Now we’ve all heard of “cell phone radiation”, but is it really a threat to our health?
Various spokespeople and organizations have claimed that these symptoms are real, but apparently The World Health Organization set the record straight:
“EHS has no clear diagnostic criteria and there is no scientific basis to link EHS symptoms to EMF (electromagnetic field) exposure. Further, EHS is not a medical diagnosis, nor is it clear that it represents a single medical problem.”
