New online fashion site Lyst will soon be integrating a tool called Runway Tracking, which will allow designer fashion fans to find out as soon as catwalk trends hit the high street.
The tool will mean that fashion bloggers and designer junkies will be able to see a piece on the runway, save it and then be notified when they can buy it themselves, as well as information about where they can get it from. It’s an ideal tool for those who watch events and catwalk shows a whole season in advance and means they don’t forget the special pieces that caught their eye months down the line.
Mashable featured the site earlier today and raises the interesting question of whether Lyst will help designers predict what will be popular on the high street. It could also mean many partnerships with big brands, not to mention a whole host of very very happy designer fashion fans.
