We were a very popular techy Santa this year, mostly because of Hoodie Buddies, a sweatshirt with built in ear plugs. Where was this when were in High School? The garments connect with your music device and allow you to listen to music via embedded headphones on the ends of the drawstrings.Needless to say, it was a popular gift with all the teens.
Hoodie Buddies new sister line, InSound, uses the same HB3 technology but in more fashion- forward styles of sweatshirts, such as reversible models ,a “Slickster Black Hoodie” which looks like leathette, a snappy flannel tunic, and a Lux Henly version. Amazingly, they are machine washable, but line dry.
The prices range from $49 for the “standard issue” up to $72 for the black and white flannel.
For most of us, our favorite look is a pair of great-fitting jeans and a comfortable but stylish tee. For me, that translates to 7 For All Mankind denim and a Jenny B rockin’ v-neck shirt, made from the softest cotton.
Jenny Brawley,a former advertising executive, is a So Cal Native, which shows in the laid-back styles. But pair one of the burnout tanks with an attached wrap/scraf with your good jeans, and pair of stilettos, and you’re ready to go clubbing.
Celebs like AnnaLynn McCord, Paula Abdul and Khloe Kardashian have flocked to the line.
Your favorite look – just taken up a notch.
