Cable Network HBO is joining what seems as “the rest of the world” with a dedicated iPhone application. As expected, the app is created for HBO show/series fans, who may want to watch (and share) behind-the-scene clips, upcoming episode previews, as well as some other bonus content from HBO production. In addition, there’s an SMS alert service, allowing users to sign-up for SMS reminders of their favorite shows.
As HBO needs to make some money out of its iEfforts, there’s also an option to purchase HBO episodes with direct links into iTunes… Enough said – AppStore link is here.
