Mint mobile app coming soon to an Android smartphone near you

After cornering the iPhone market, Mint (now part of Intuit) is bringing its personal financing service to the Android users. Actually, they [Android users] will have to wait for the first quarter of 2010, but from what we hear/read, it will be a well worth wait. I would expect to see all of the features the latest iPhone version has for a start. Then, if it’s required, some background stuff could be added, though I’m not sure how that fits with what Mint does. On the other hand, thanks to the widget support built inside Android OS, you could keep your existing balance visible all the time — something that’s definitely useful during the Christmas shopping spree. Then again, that will have to wait for the 2010 Christmas.
