Palm pushes WebOS Mojo SDK to all devs!

Mobile developers have been chomping at the bit for a publicly available WebOS SDK ever since the Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre was launched earlier this year. Today, Palm has finally given eager WebOS developers the means to start developing apps for the WebOS’s App Catalog – the WebOS Mojo SDK has just been released to the public! In fact, all you need is a valid email address to start tinkering with the WebOS.
The Palm WebOS Mojo SDK comes complete with WebOS development guides, UI guidelines, and a “Hello World” sample WebOS application to help WebOS developers make the jump to the newest finger-friendly smartphone OS on market.
And, for the rest of you WebOS users (that would be anyone with a Palm Pre), keep an eye out for a handful of new WebOS applications coming down the pipeline. Palm has confirmed previous rumors that additional WebOS apps are headed to the App Catalog. Just how many new apps we’ll be seeing is still unknown. The WebOS 1.1 update? That’s probably not too far off either!
