Remember Those Important Dates With ‘Holiday and Vacation Calendar’ for iPhone

I want to wish a quick ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ to all of my Canadian friends, family and colleagues. Hopefully at some point today or tomorrow (Thanksgiving day in Canada is actually tomorrow!) you can sit down with those closest to you, have a few drinks, eat way too much, and fall asleep peacefully on the couch (preferably with a football game on).
For those of you that are unaware of the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday, I stumbled upon a handy little app this morning for the iPhone that will help you out. It’s called the ‘Holiday and Vacation Calendar’, and for only {content}.99, you can have a simple little app that will notify you of holidays all around the world. There’s a list of public holidays for folks in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Cuba, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland. Good grief, that’s a lot of places. But just think, with this app you’ll know exactly when local holidays are taking place!
There’s actually quite a few features built-in to this one… There’s even school vacation dates for many countries, a season calendar view, and support for multiple languages.
For more info, you can check out the Holiday and Vacation Calendar in the App Store (iTunes link). Again, it’ll run you {content}.99.
Happy Thanksgiving, Canada!
