It’s a tad unusual for RIM to offer a ’service pack’ for the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Desktop Manager… In most cases we simply see a new version available for download. But meh, whatever you want to call it, check this out as it’s probably worth the update. It’s mostly minor changes and bug fixes, but still… always a good idea to have the latest and greatest, right?
Service Pack 1 for BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0 includes:
- User interface for using your device as an IP modem
- Support for new fields on the address book for your device
- Enhancements to the synchronization process for organizer data
- Support for Greek and Hebrew languages
- Support for Windows 7
For all the details and to download, head on over to the BlackBerry Software Download page.
