TabToolkit comes to the App Store

TabToolkit is a new App for the iPhone/iPod Touch that lets you take your music tablature files with you and view Power Tab, Guitar Pro, text and PDF files. For those of you that don’t know, Tablature files (or tabs) are a very popular format for composing and transcribing music, especially for guitar players. Tab files are a great way to learn new music or practice a song.
Here are some of the features on board the App:
- Tablature & Standard Notation
- Synthesized Instrument Playback
- Upload & Download
- Auto Re-Orient
- Practice Content Included
- ‘Lefties’ support

Whilst it might be quite a specific App for a niche audience, it does look VERY well put together – I’d be interested to hear if any of our readers have already downloaded a copy – if so, hit us with a comment!
TabToolkit will be available in the iTunes App Store on September 22, 2009 for .99 (US dollars)
