December 29 is ‘Dump Go Daddy Day’

Warning: exif_imagetype(http://www.mobilefun.ws/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/c73ac_angry-mob-e1324922261674.png): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found in /home1/tntkik/public_html/www.mobilefun.ws/wp-content/themes/expresscurate/loop.php on line 69

My idiots of the year award almost certainly will go to Netflix and Go Daddy, which tarnished their brands through nothing more than sheer stupidity (there are still five days in the month for your organization to royally screw up and claim the honor). Both companies tried to step back from the brink, only to watch tens of thousands of customers fly over the edge into the “frak you” abyss. I can’t decide which company’s actions is stupider; Go Daddy’s idiocy is more recent, and the damage still unfolds.

Scientists teleport light

Scientists teleport light

teleport-light.jpg

Teleportation has been rife in sci-fi fiction for years. Look at the way the Star Trek team casually teleport themselves around the galaxy on a near hourly basis, or the devastating effects of teleportation on Seth Brundle in Cronenburg’s 1986 classic The Fly.

But, it’s something that scientists here in the real world have yet to master, much to the dismay of those who have to sit in heavy traffic every morning as part of their daily commute, or people who can’t stand to travel by plane.

Jabra STONE is Stone Cold Pretty

The Jabra STONE Bluetooth headset is one rock you won’t want to toss willy-nilly at glass houses or at some offending person. Jabra’s newest cell phone accessory combines great tech with ergonomically sound design and smoking good looks. The headset has approximately eight hours of talk time and thanks to the STONE’s unique shape, the time will seem to fly by. Designed for the right ear, the STONE comfortably wraps behind your ear eliminating face obstruction caused by the usual bulky Bluetooth headset. When it’s not curled on your ear, it fits snugly into its charger giving off the appearance of a smooth black stone.
