Google Maps Confirmed To Get Offline Re-Routing

This has been rumored for a day or two, but it seems to now be confirmed.  In a glance at the Google Maps Navigation for Mobile website, a new feature has been listed:

Unfortunately, there’s no indication of when the feature will start to be rolled out to wild.  However, this is certainly awesome news.  I love using Google Maps Navigation, and use it on a regular basis.  While it works wonderfully as long as you have a network connection, as soon as you stray in to the middle of nowhere, things can get a little dicey if you need to reroute for some reason.
