Apple has launched an investigation into practices its factories in China that include child labour, 24 hour working days and unsafe conditions at the plants which manufacture its iPhones, iPads and computers.

Could ecstasy cure cancer?

It seems that every week we’re told that something new cures, prevents or even causes cancer. From chocolate to soda, plants to animals, the media would have us believe that we have to spend our lives in small bubbles, unable to touch anything.

Now scientists from Birmingham University have found evidence to prove that ecstasy could actually help to cure cancer. They discovered that the drug could well treat or significantly slow down the growth of some illnesses such as leukaemia and lymphoma.

Computer + Plant = Secondary Growth

You may have plants dotted around your office in order to break up all of the technology with some calming, green flora, but how about a computer that actually has a plant “built” into it?

The Secondary Growth concept is exactly that, a hybrid between a regular computer and a plant. The soil is separated from the important electronic components and parts such as the hard drive and graphics card are in cartridges which can be easily removed and also stick out to cool down the computer itself and its plant friend.
