Wouldn’t it be cool if you could recharge your Android phone with water? Powertrekk by myFC is a new fuel cell charger that does just that. This innovate charging system uses Powerpukks that contain sodium silicide which produce hydrogen gas when combined with any kind of water.

“PowerTrekk Water Charger gives your mobile phone power anywhere at any time”, says Björn Westerholm, CEO at myFC. “From now on, you do not have to rely on having an electricity grid nearby.”

Lightables.net creates Flickr photo grids

Lightables.net creates Flickr photo grids

I’ve always felt that, although easy-to-use and simplistic, Flickr’s interface is a little dull and plain so this seems like a great idea. It also puts the emphasis on the photos much more and would be an ideal way for photographers and artists to showcase their work.

LED Kimono Takes the Stage

LED Kimono Takes the Stage

There’s something about LEDs and clothing that really gets me, provided it’s done well. You won’t catch me within 100 feet of one of those cheesy light-up holiday sweaters, especially those garish Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer deals. This kimono however, has class and sophistication that negates the gimmicky feel of the LED lighting.
