Thanks to pics posted by BGR, we can see that the Tour2 looks almost exactly like its BlackBerry Tour predecessor, save for the optical trackpad that replaces the trackball.

Two, RIM is officially offering curriculum to academic institutions under app development, support, and administration branches. This can help you provide students the knowledge they need to achieve those dreams of making the killer app, ruling a BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) rollout with an iron fist, or manning a soul-draining tech support cubicle. Instructors can use the textbooks, labs, and materials to teach the courses in whole semesters, or piecemeal as modules in other courses.

By Tim Conneally, Betanews

Without any notice to current customers with or those early adopters with dormant accounts, Sprint has locked down the Baltimore Xohm WiMAX network and is not letting inactive hardware be turned back on to allow free upgrades to Clear hardware.

Sprint’s Xohm network was one of the first two WiMAX deployments in the United States. We watched with excitement as the towers were raised in Baltimore and the ceremonial ribbon was cut on the new high speed wireless network.

Project Dark: T Mobile Even More and Even More Plus Plan Pricing Revealed

TMo EvenMore1 300x178 Project Dark: T Mobile Even More and Even More Plus Plan Pricing RevealedTMo EvenMore2 300x178 Project Dark: T Mobile Even More and Even More Plus Plan Pricing RevealedWe had learned recently that T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s Project Dark would involve hardware financing that would allow customers to pay off devices on a monthly basis rather than entirely up-front, but there was another piece to the puzzle that was still missing: what about that “most affordable unlimited rated plan“? Well, some internal documents are revealing an unlimited text, talk and data plan for .99/month, matching Sprint (NYSE: S)’s equivalent Simply Everything plan (although there’s also a .99 plan, but I think that’s for their month-by-month non-annual plan). There’s plenty of fine print and option for family plans, but take a look at these docs to see if there’s anything for you.
