Vodafone Teams up with Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan

Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) has expanded their marketing reach in Taiwan. They’ve signed yet another co-branded marketing deal with Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom… Under terms of the deal Chunghwa will get exclusive access to many Vodafone devices, services and products from the good folks at the big V.
Richard Daly, the CEO of Vodafone Partner Markets commented on the deal:
“Our agreement with Chunghwa, the leading operator in Taiwan, is a great opportunity for Vodafone to build its presence in this economically important Asian market. This partnership will deliver enhanced roaming capabilities for our respective customers, as well as realise significant benefits for enterprises in the region through the superior connectivity achievable through Vodafone’s business products.”
Congrats to Vodafone, Chunghwa, and the mobile goers of Taiwan. Looks like you’ll be able to get your hands on some solid new devices in the near future!
